Our group format has now changed from a Chapter to a Peer Support Group. What does this mean?
- Our group is now called Ostomy Fredericton Peer Support Group
- We do not have an executive such as president, vice president, secretary, and treasurer. Myself and Nancy are still acting as organizers and facilitators for our meetings and Karen will still help with the administrative side of things.
- Memberships in the new year will go directly to Ostomy Canada. (Your current membership is good until December 2023). If you would like to receive the magazine, Ostomy Connects newsletter, updates on webinars etc. you can do that through being an "Ostomy Supporter". Membership is $25. Please see more information on the "Membership Support" page of this website.
- Note: you do not need to be a member to attend our meetings. Also, if you would like to make a donation to our local group to support our initiative to give to ostomates in need at Christmas, or to support our Christmas and Summer events, you can still do so through our regular mailing address or e-transfer.
